Local Company To Host Super Bowl Party for U.S. Troops in Kuwait and Iraq
Scottsdale-based N’Genuity taking Bo Jackson, Bub Bowen and Other VIPs to Feed & Visit American Soldiers for Super Bowl XXXVIII
SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- (Market Wire) – January 14, 2004 – N’Genuity Enterprises, headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona announced today that it is hosting what is shaping up to be, one of the largest Super Bowl parties to ever take place not on U.S. soil.
N’Genuity co-founders Valerie LittleChief, a successful entrepreneur and sports legend Bo Jackson, will be shipping over 200,000 pounds of Bo Jackson Signature foods to Kuwait and Iraq to feed and entertain American service men and women in the region.
“In hosting this event, N’Genuity’s goal is to make sure that these service men and women are recognized for personal sacrifices they’re making to build democracy in the Middle East. We want them to be able to send their New Year’s messages to family and loved ones, and we want them to know how much we appreciate what they’re doing over there”, said Bub Bowen, spokesperson for N’Genuity.
The Super Bowl Party in the Desert will be a 9-day, three-phase event.
The send-off will include a reception on January 27 Capitol Hill where Arizona congressional leadership, officials from the Small Business Administration (SBA) and agency officials from the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and other federal agencies will be invited to meet with N’Genuity’s executive team and other members of the contingent before it leaves for Kuwait.
This event is supported by Arizona's congressional delegation, lead by Congressman J.D. Hayworth, also Chairman of the Native American Caucus. N'Genuity is located in the 5th District represented by Congressman Hayworth.
"This is truly an all-American endeavor for which Bo Jackson, Valerie LittleChief and all the people at N'Genuity deserve congratulations for finding a uniquely appropriate way to show this nation's gratitude to the men and women stationed in Iraq," said Congressman J.D. Hayworth. "They have given new meaning and substance to Super Sunday."
While in the Middle East, the team will prepare food, feed U.S. service men and women, and in conjunction with embedded U.S. media from the major television and cable networks, showcase American troops making their Super Bowl picks and sending messages home to friends, family and loved ones. Bo Jackson will also spend time talking and taking pictures with the troops.

“My personal respect for our military forces who spend their every waking moment fighting for freedom, justice and liberty for the American people and bringing the same to oppressed, war-torn countries around the world is unmatched by the fleeting exhilaration from winning a game or receiving a trophy. While our country celebrates our sport heroes in the war we pro footballers call the Super Bowl, we will be celebrating the real heroes, those who are fighting and risking everything they have to make the world a better place…the American solider”, said Bo Jackson, co-founder of N’Genuity.
A press conference is scheduled to launch the event in Phoenix, Arizona on January 23rd. The media, Congressman Hayworth and other local officials will be on tap to send the N’Genuity contingent to Washington D.C. for an official send-off.
The press conference will be held at N’Genuity’s offices at 15333 N. Pima Rd Suite 120, Scottsdale, Arizona at 9:00am.
