Valerie
Marie LittleChief, a Native American of Kiowa and Comanche
heritage, has long nurtured a vision of a community-responsive
business organization based on a philosophy of diversity. She
first ventured into business as a gemologist certified by the
Gemological Institute of America in diamonds, grading, and
identification. Her Gem Color Company wholesales diamonds,
jewelry, and precious metals. Ultimately, she teamed up with Bo
Jackson and founded N'Genuity Enterprises as a new vehicle for her
entrepreneurial spirit. This allowed her to expand her vision of a
company characterized by diversity and fueled by innovation.
N'Genuity has blossomed since its inception into a uniquely
diverse entity with many avenues for growth. Leadership,
professionalism, and strength have attracted industry-leading
firms to N'Genuity, an amazing accomplishment for a young
operation. Flexibility has allowed the company to engage in
opportunities within the food industry providing immediate distribution and resources nationwide. Its
solid reputation is the result of hard work, dedication, and
ambitious goals.
Building
on the company's vision, N'Genuity is also an advocate for minority
business. N'Genuity has been certified as a participant in the U.S.
Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) program. Additionally,
N'Genuity has been certified as a Small Disadvantage Business in the
Federal Government's (SDB) program. N'Genuity Enterprises is certified
as a minority business enterprise through the Grand Canyon Minority
Supplier Development Council, the Arizona affiliate of the National
Minority Suppliers Development Council. Valerie is an active member of
the National Association of Women Business Owners and the American
Indian Chamber of Commerce.
